Estimated harvest timing for coriander, chickpea and lentil in Russia in 2026

The 2026 harvest timing will depend on the growing region, sowing date, variety, rainfall and temperatures during the season. The dates below should therefore be treated as an indicative calendar for early export batch planning.

Coriander. In southern Russia, coriander seed harvesting usually falls in July–August. Key readiness indicators include maturation of most umbels and seed moisture reaching a level suitable for post-harvest processing and storage.

Chickpea. Chickpea is usually harvested after cereals. Depending on the variety and growing conditions, the vegetation period is approximately 80–120 days, so the main harvest window may fall in August–September.

Lentil. Lentil has a relatively short growing period. Depending on the region and variety, harvesting may begin in the second half of July and continue through August. If harvest is delayed, shattering risk and quality deterioration should be considered.

For export shipments, RusCoriander treats the harvest calendar as part of a wider planning system: quality control, specification preparation, packaging, documentation and logistics for export destinations.
